Dear AND members,

It's hard to believe, but this forum was started only 1,5 year ago and we're already approaching 500 members! It's wonderful to realize that so many people feel welcome to join us here, and we really want to keep it that way as well.

And for that, we need your help!

Recently it turned out that some people thought that our Rules on polite posting and giving advice in a positive way were only for posting in the forum. On the contrary, these rules apply to every post that is made in this forum, also to what we write to each other in PMs.
Even though we are sure that the people writing those messages meant well, their unwanted advice and the way they gave it caused other AND members to feel confused and stressed about their training.

We´d like to point to the Forum Rules and emphasise that the purpose of this forum is not to judge others or tell them that they are doing things wrong. That does not only apply to the open forum but also to the things that are being said behind the scenes.
We want to learn from each other and from our horses and we strongly believe that this is only possible if people don´t need to worry if they will be judged or criticized when they are writing about their work or posting videos.

The good thing about having so many members, is that we can all help in keeping this forum a positive place: please PM one or more moderators if you read or receive a post which you think isn't according to our House Rules. That way we can all help in keeping this forum the supportive and open minded study group that it wants to be!

Warm Regards,
The moderators of AND
Bianca, Josepha, Karen, Miriam & Romy
