Hi everyone

After not drawing a lot of time, I have started again :D I must admit it gives me a lot of fun, even though I am NEVER satisfied with the result ;)

Just silly drawing..

Hi Ola,

silly drawing...? I think it´s great!! :) Do you also have one of your turtle?

Oh, and I fixed your image link. For some reason the image code does not work, but you can just click on the image so that it appears on a white background and then use the URL (http://www...).

Warm Regards,
Romy

Oh, Ola, that's lovely! I like how dark you got your dark parts -- my sister paints and draws, and she when she teaches art she is always trying to get her students to draw DARK. ;) You've got it down!!

In art, the mistakes can only ever be seen by the artists themselves, because what might be a mistake to you, might be a perfect vision to another. To everyone else, it is only beauty. Art is an interpretation of reality and not a direct reflection of reality (that is what photographs are for). So there ARE no mistakes, ever, in art. The horse is breathtaking! :f: :applause: :f: :applause:

Well, I haven't worked with him since last spring.. His owner didn't want me to play with Arpis, but to work instead, so he let another rider to take care of him, ride on him and so on. We had just different perception of working with horses. I know that chasing a plastic bag may have looked silly for horse's owner, but it doesn't mean that it isn't beneficial. He didn't even give me a chance to explain it.

Anyway, I am very grateful for all these beautiful moments with Arpis. I miss him, and playing with horses and doing some groundwork as well. Now I ride in a classical stable so I don't have any opportunities to play from the ground

I'm not a pro but I can offer the comment that you seem to be gaining confidence in your hands! This last drawing is beginning to flow from the very earth! The way the left hind hoof looks like it's being formed from earth and is becoming.

I, for myself, like to imagine my hand holding the pencil is flowing over the horse's body instead of the page. Does that make sense? I think you are doing that.

I can see the love you have for your subjects
