Oh, you had to send me back there, didn't you? I can't help myself...it's too much fun throwing paint around! Not to mention it's a really brilliant bit of code, isn't it??

And thank you about the horse! It's funny, but that playback really makes it look all deliberate, when in fact I wasn't really all that sure it would turn out to be anything. I got tired of making hair though...should have spent a little more time on the forelock!

I´m just checking how to use the art-pad..it´s hard to get lines ok with the pencil..My dad thinks it´s marvellous for planning akvarell-paintings anyway (so cool, that he and I are using the internet to paint together..my dad lives in Germany, 1000 km away..)

Oh, they are beautiful!!! I really like the looseness of it and the fact that it is very difficult to be very precise. And watching the process happen if fascinating!

I had to google "akvarell"...watercolor! Your father and you both paint?

I used to paint very realistic and used oil paints...now I force myself to paint less exact and use acrylics. I adore the Impressionists...especially Van Gogh.

The patterns are funny too..got my eyes spinning .
I´m not painting at all (but maybe I will start..I have so much fun with this program), my dad is an architect and painting watercolors (sorry for the swedish(!!) word) since he stopped working. So, when I´ve done a picture, I send it to him to get his comments (he likes that) and afterwards he is improving the painting and sending it back. The little red prince for example is never in the right place and the flower was to much centered..
If you think, that you are painting for realistic this program might be the right thing. Do you have thought about printing and then improving with acrylics?

I do use the computer to plan out a painting. I use Photoshop. My problem is finding time to paint! Between work and horses, I don't seem to have the free time to paint.

Toward the bottom of the page is something I would like to do. I should post the larger version. The one there is just a portion of the image...but in Photoshop, you can also do something like finger painting....you can push color around and it allowed me to do many of the swirls in this image.

So yes, I think that web page would be a great way to plan out a painting, then print it, and paint it for real (or make improvements...yes!).
