Almost all of my sisters paintings are of horses were as alot of mine of there arn't and I have many photographs and written things aswell and when I checked I realised I havn't actually put any of my recent horse drawings up! lol... and all of the original copies are currently in my art file at school being marked over the holidays :S oh well I'll just have to wait untill next year!!! They're not all particulary good yet but hopefully we're improving, like we are with AND :D

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments.

I've been on holidays for ages which means I finally get time to draw and read etc. :) I'm back at uni in a couple of weeks and I end up spending all my free time with the ponies.

Pictionary is always tricky. I just wish had spent some of the time I was drawing hundreds of horses as a little kid, drawing people or trees or other animals... :D

deviant art is just a website where you can upload your artwork and look at other peoples...
There is some very beautiful artwork on there if you have a look around.

Zoe gave me a huge canvas and I finally painted it. Its Poppy rearing :).

Image

Its the longest I have ever spent on a painting and the first time I made a decent attempt at a background. I really don't like painting trees, or grass, or fields.

I did it from a really bad reference photo (that cuts her ears off) and realised afterwards I shouldn't have put the tree behind her nose because her head disappears into the background.
