I think Shag-Ra is a miracle for his human Phyllis, and he brought love, healing and a second chance in this life. xx |

These types of videos always make me smile. A human and an animal both needing love and both needing a purpose, and both finding it in being there for each other. |

I almost couldn't believe my eyes! I've never heard of Yuri Volodchenkov before, is he well known? Anybody who knows how he works? |

Mmmmm.... I don't think you would like it so much if you saw how he has strapped the reins to the front of the saddle? Have a look at the other clips he has on you tube. The horse is strapped in place and the tail says it all. |

Yuri is 'just' a trick rider, circus acrobate etc. Not AND at all. I just found and interesting new exercise, to spice up our AND training |

It is amazing...and I loved that you posted it. It's just that I didn't notice the reins on the clip you posted......only when I searched for more and then went back and looked again. The idea is great....now to figure out how to do that with AND!!! Please don't stop finding these little gems Josepha. |

Post subject: | great play and new inspriration for circling |
i saw some nice videos today, i wanna share some with you a great play game with trees and a horse, they have lots of funn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFp4qGs-xRk&feature=player_embedded#! My both ponys dont like lounging (neither do i), so i am always searching for new "games" or challanges to do some circle work. Then i saw this from Karen Rohlf, and give me some new inspiration. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlfOxss4h40&feature=player_embedded#! |

The idea with the trees is great indeed. I always used our wood piles and solidago bushes for that sort of chasing games, but now I will try the apple trees as well... probably that will make the whole thing a bit more snappy, because I could make sharper turns than when I have to run around a pile. Thanks! |

That's a coincidence.. I just added those to my favorites on youtube... they are wonderfull aren't they? I liked the one of Karin Rolff because it is less wld, something Ruphina and I bth don't like for now... I like her body langauge as well, to me it seems quite 'gentle' |

sometimes when it is raining a lot, and horrible for go to the ponys i sit behind the desk with a cup of tea and watch movies :-) so now and then you see some inspiration stuff and sometimes funny stuff. I like to switch between some more wilder games and slow games. Sometimes my pony need some more spirit. And this seems to me a good idea. Oh man...it would be nice if he do some bucking he almost never do that. But still my sweetest boy |
