But i do have an account on youtube and here is the link to a video of what me and Zelda have been up to recently, remember we havent been doing this very long just about a week so we are still getting there and there is a lot more work to be done, but the main thing is we are really enjoying ourselves doing this method :D

Very nice video, Louise!! :D

Just one suggestion: if you worked at liberty, you could make sure that she is a little bit more focused on you. This is because when she knows that she can go away whenever she wants to, the time she spends with you will be time when she has decided it - when she really wants to play/work with you. Maybe in the beginning she will go away from you more often if you leave away the cordeo, but if you don´t pressure her to do anything and do what she likes in your training, she will very soon realize that being with you is fun - and therefore come to you more often and give you her whole concentration.

When I notice that my horses start to be less attentive, I just go away. Then they can decide either to refocus on me and come with me (90% of all cases) or to do their own thing for some time. In that way I make sure that when we are together we are really together physically as well as mentally. I have found that this is more productive for us than reminding them to stay or concentrate...

Keep on the good work!! :D

Warm Regards,
Romy

Hiya Romy, thanx for the quick reply. Yes Zelda is a very cheeky mare and she does sometimes like to g woundering off to other people and find out what they are holding or what is in their pockets lol. On the same day as the filming, she did this quite a lot and i just decided to sit on the ground and face away from her and she eventually wanted to come back to me and find out what i was up to again lol. Thank you for the advise :D

Hi
Nice video. I also see that she is in a big pasture with a lot of other horses. maybe that is also a reason she is not so focused on you. But it looks like a great place where you live.

Greetings

Hiya Tlove, yes she is with a lot of other horses, its a shame because i do think that she is distracted by them aswell and also that is the field where she lives and i dont really like her working where she lives, but we dont have anywhere else where we could play these games so we have to do with the facilities that we are given dont we? Thank you for the advise :D
