I loved the moment where after staring in the distance for a while (very well parked still within the range of the camera, he sure isn't camera-shy! ), he then reconnects with you and gently comes along and plays with you again. Nice to see!

What suprised me too is that Owen is starting to use his body better more and more: he is offering a lot of very tight turns in order to follow you when you walk from his head to his side, which is a good sign in a horse with a past of pelvic injuries. He still doesn't know how to really do a good turn around the frontquarters (crossing his hindlegs in front of each other, instead of placing them behind the body), but I think that very soon he might be ready for some very easy bending/sideways movements, starting with turns around the frontquarters and turns around the hindquarters. Well, the first weeks only a few steps of course and not an entire turn, but he seems to be getting more ready to start at that as he shows you he can turn tighter again and is quite eager to do so. Great to see!

The first time since Miriam was here I think.
And Ralph filmed so here it is:

Not be long perfect yet, but it's a start.

The cavesson brings Owen back to earth and/or me  in any case.

Riding afterwards coming up :)

Well the riding is easy for me ha ha !

The groudwork is just as new to me than to most of you here.

I told Owen he could rear now, and he goes up when my hand goes up, and I wanted to get that irritating hair out of my face and he saw that is the cue, sweet huh? ha ha ha !
Oh, I love him sooooo.... He takes my breath away.

(Ralph said, if I die you can marry this friend of his, I said no, I'll marry Owen)

The second time when he goes up, I did not ask, but in slowmotion you see my gleaming face when he does it... a huge smile... ahum.
Caught in the act, Ralph says.
It was Ralph's idea to work in the casseson.

He says playing time is over and we need to train more seriously as we have to give a demo april 17 and people need to see different excersizes and not just Owen and my jumping crazy around high on adrenaline... maybe he has a point... Ralph has.
