I know her and talking with her too sometime since 2 yrs . I inspirating her about collection in liberté and riding with a cordeo and halter and i gave her a lot explanation on how succeed. She was asking me a lot question about how collect in liberty, and about other trics like front crunch and back crunch, crossing leg etc ... When i know her, she was only riding with double bite (like in dressage), and i didn't really like how she was riding with bite(a lot pression in the mouth). But i convince her to ride with halter then with cordeo and now it look soo nice, horse is free :applause:
I really like her Tigo, very nice lusitanien horse! I love this breed!

Me neither. Only things that I like a lot and things that I would not want to have in my own training. But that does not mean that I see them as faults... just a different way of interacting with horses in some aspects. A great opportunity to learn for me, maybe exactly because of that. Very inspirational!

Sorry to drag up an old video link but I just want to say the moment when the horse is rewarded for lying down (1min50secs), that expression on the horses face just sends goosebumps down my spine :friends:

Post subject:  Bridleless dressage demo

I just found this great video on YouTube!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alryG8sS ... re=related

It's a woman giving a dressage demo on her 25 year old thoroughbred without bridle, I guess during a regular dressage competition?
I really liked the video a lot. Her seat and cues might not be the best and the transitions between gaits are quite stiff, but I love how relaxed and collected her horse carries himself around the arena, and I absolutely adore her sideways movements and the way she switches between them so easily!
I'm quite sure that this horse has been trained with bridle and qquite traditional (see the outfit of the rider), but what a great way to inspire others to look beyond the limitations of the reins!

I saw that some time ago...it's look like a very young girl? It is a nice video. I agree how nice it is to show people how to think outside the box a little. It seems to be a very nice school pony - very willing. What a sweet soul!

Sigh! Maybe one day ... 8)

I really enjoyed it, and I thought it was good to see how often a horse WANTS to lower it's head and stretch. ;)
