Woo Thank you "Morgan"! You are so nice. Romantic is such a sweet horse, very understanding, very happy. He is the shine of my life. I feed him with hay ad libitum and some horse food after playing with him, so not everyday. And he has a friend he likes. That is so important for his mental. As you said he trusts himself verymuch, and I feel he is happy on earth, it is what I wanted him to be. (I had to look at the dictionnary for I got sidetracked) lol

Karen thanks. The smileys you used are fun! :green:

With Love,

Nice rearing but may I be a bit critical... I personally would not encourage or like my horse kicking to the from toward the whip I'm holding.. or is this not the case? Can you ask Romantic to rear next to you, without you holding a whip?

Hello, :)

Thanks for your words, I'm educating romantic almost alone so hard to know if what I do is righ or not.

Jess plum thanks a lot! You like a lot Romantic isn't it?

Bianca, your comment made me to think. I can ask him without the whip but not next to me just in front, i don't know how to do next. How can I do. What reasure me is that he does rear up very calmy.

With Love,

Just try it...you might be surprised. Stand beside him and ask with your energy (you put both arms up, and maybe hop up a little?) and as he begins to respond, put one hand lightly on his shoulder, so that if he turns toward you, you can move away from him. If he rears without turning toward you, reward LAVISHLY and do not ask him again in the session. If you get perfection, do not ask to repeat it until another time.

Even if you only get a little hop in response to your request, I would reward it, and then go do something else. He rears beautifully and strongly by the way! :f:

:yeah: :cheer: :yeah: :cheer: :yeah: :cheer:

You DID it!!!! He has the most amazing and incredible (and again..STRONG!!!) rear. You look so tiny beside him...it's gorgeous! He's MUST be strong...he's standing so tall and yet he's bending his hocks and he's under himself as he does it. He makes it look so easy! Tam can still only hop!

To be honest it is you who motivate me a lot. Each time I asked him the rear up from the front I was thinking "hum I should do from the side" And I began to walk and trot just like the hempfling video and it works.

the video which helps me too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppmnDUQDMis

And then I tried to do like him the grant of the ground and he did a little. I'm proud of him!

Thank's Karen for commenting my rear's up video, you made me progress a lot!
