The quality is not that good any more... the fluent movements are gone somehow, but still nice to watch my spanish macho :)

Thank you! 8)

Ralph says there is to much movement for the pc to keep up.
Is it bad quality on you pc's too?

Jamie is now a bit thin and he has really saggy belly muscles, I should really train him... but I have no time :(

Wow, after all he has been through, Don Jaimie looks well. I was looking for his tummy problems, has that cancer completely gone? Gina is wonderful, she really knows Jaimie and encourages him so much. xx

Thanks, all of you :)

yes, me very happy!

@ Susie, I do not know what te state of the cancer is exactly, it is hard to measure without all sorts of examinations which I do not see the point of puttig him through.
But seeing as he is in better shape than the last 3 or 4 years, the curcuma most be doing something good :-) Thanks again sweet girl!!!
next to that he gets EM (effective micro organisms) and some of our own herb mixes (equihof) with thistle, seaweed and nettles. And himalaya rock salt.

@ Kirsten, ha ha indeed!

@ liljebo, thank you. But 27 is not so old. Many stallions in Vienna perform in the show up to 25 years and then still live on fit till 30 or 35.
But seeing the Don as 'old geezer' you can imagine how he was 10 years ago... magnificent and a handful :funny: 8) I miss his younger version... love to have one again... I know his daughter in Spain and I know he has other childeren but I am never going to get a horse from there ever again nor spend money on the bullfighters...:(

This was a year ago, I never even saw this movie, but came across it just now! :)

What a difference!!!! look how skinny and tired he looks!

You are right, Josepha, 27 is relative to the life lived. I have had horses to 39 yrs, 44 yrs, 18 yrs, 20 yrs 16 yrs and it depends. Some people if not ill make to 100 where others are worn out by 50 yrs old.
A colleague of Prof. William Youatt knew a horse who received a musket ball in his neck at the Battle of Preston in 1715, no idea of the horse's age at this time but I guess at least 5 years old? The musket ball was removed following the horse's death in 1758 some 43 years later.
Another horse reported in Veterinary Manual For Horse Owners lived to the age of 63 years.
Prof. William Percivall recorded a barge horse who died in his 62nd year and Prof. Bracy Clark knew a hunter who lived to the age of 52 years old.
It does beg the question why almost 200 years later, horses are deemed old at younger ages?
Wonder if the peasants who could not afford shoes for their horses were doing them such a big favour as well as keeping them fit through work rather than pasture pets?
Hunters were shod but not 365 days a year.

I am happy Jaimie looks well and contented, his age is irrelevant. xx
