my horse has to spend the night in the stable, the stable owner doesn't want to leave them out 24/7, I know Beau is really active, he now strips isolation from the water pipes and rubber from the inside of the stable, could I give him something in his stable he can play with? He sometimes has a ball in his stable or I leave a plastic brush and he does play with it, any other ideas? Are those play-balls for horses a good idea? now its a half-flat basketball

Yes of course!

We have those balls which you can fill up with graines, hours worth of play time.

And then we hang up likits, they love that too!
And I hide carrots every where :)

I have this one

and this one

Both great!

I give them on the grass and would not prefer to feed this in a stable with sand (like I have) or with woodchips because they eat it along wioth the treats that fall out.
In straw or rubber as a stable floor this is great!

Yes but it has a big hole so you can also put pieces of apple in it or something.

:D I have a round ball like that for Rio, the dog. If I need to keep him occupied for an hour, that is how he gets his supper. He will roll it around as long as there is one bit of food in it.

Beau has 'vlas'(flax?) in his stable so it could be dangerous if he ate some of that... or am I wrong??
and he has a mineral-block but he never looks at it, do you think he would like the likits?
I'll give him a carrot on a string tomorrow :) looks funny...

I'd go for a hanging toy...like a likit or the big balls with the handles on them (convenient for hanging).!

I tried the carrot on a string and :) it cost him exactly a half minute to eat the carrot if it took so long

well, my special little pony, smells the likit's but doesn't eat them, he does gets those 2 likit's out of the round ball, and he can do it rather fast too, 2 times this morning :) and he bites the ball, anyway he is having fun with it, but in a strange way :)

My client has the big green thing- she fills it with alfalfa cubes which the horses are prety good at picking up without getting the sawdust. It is also a forage so it isn't rotting in there or giving them to much sugars. Some horses will paly with just a bottle hanging- detergent bottles work well.
