Who has experiences about animal communication and wants to share about it?

I have made use of animal communicaters many times and found it really helpful.
Also I have done a course in animal communication.

As we have some actual animal communicators here, it might be interesting to share our experiences and maybe even how to go about starting with it?

Warm regards,

Josepha

As we were asked by the main posters of the original Animal communication thread to delete it, that´s what we did, so the discussion about animal communication can be continued over here.

I want to share a story here - I didn't experience it myself but I think it's worth telling:

It happened to a former horse-teacher of mine, a very wise man who opened my eyes for the nature of horses.

This man had a very deep relationship to a gelding that lived in his stable (why and how would lead to far here). One day he watched a video where they showed jumping in liberty from the ground. The following night he thought a lot about this and how and where he could do this with that gelding and imagined how he would do it.

The next day, the owner of the gelding, an old lady in her 80ies, went for a walk for grazing with her horse on a halter how she always did when she came for a visit. She went on the part of the property where some trunks were laying around for jumping. Suddenly when they were near such a trunk, the gelding jumped over it! The old lady was totaly perplex because he never did something like this before and told my teacher about it.
Can this happen by accident? For me the only explanation is that the relationship between my teacher and the gelding was so deep, that the horse somehow "saw" the imagination of my teacher - although he was away from him in the house that moment - and did what he saw the next day...

By the way: Do you know the books of Henry Blake? (thinking with horses and Talking with horses) They were written in the seventies or early 80ies, so this man was really ahead of the times! They are about mental cennection between horse and humans which he investigated and described in his book. Worth reading!

hi. i like this topic alot, it is very interesting. i would love to share a story too. i have quite a few, but i hesitate to tell them because i dont really want everyone thinking i am any more odd than they already do.

Apollo is my very old man. (36) as i have mentioned in different posts, his herd job is to be the babysitter and teacher. :) he is very kind and gentle and patient. he is also very protective, so the mares like to leave him with their foals so they can go off and graze.

the mares and foals were at the home paddock. we had put them all right down the back in the cool, well sheltered paddock. it was thick with trees and great grazing. this paddock was probably about 10acres.

now apollo did not want to go in there with them, which should have alerted us, but they wanted to, so we were happy to let them. ;)

there is a laneway that goes all the way up the property to the house, with paddocks on either side. they retty much stay open, but they are great for when we bring horses home to play with, we can really get a few done in a day if they are put in the yards for breakfast.

anyway. it was HOT!!!! really muggy! we were in the house. all of a sudden the hair stood on end on the back of my neck and i ran outside. it was then that i heard a horrible sound, it was apollo. he was screaming. he galloped up the top, calling and calling. then he stopped and looked at me. he did a very strange call to me, then turned and proceeded to go down the back.

i called out to mum and turned around to go back in the house to get Dylan. Apollo stopped and turned around to look at me, he saw me going bak in the house ans turned and called again and again. i grabbed Dyl and went out to see him.

he led me down the back. stopping and waiting for me to catch up here and there. he went straight to the mare and foal paddock and screamed and then nudged the gate. so i opened it. thinking that he had changed his mind and wanted to go back in.

Apollo bolted in and went around the mares. now apollo is not above the mares and they would normally tel him to buzz off if he were to tryand round them up, but this time they listened. he rounded them up like some stallion in a movie. it was amazing!!!!

he led them out and took them into the clearing. we were just amazed. we had no idea why he had done this, until we got nearly to the house. the wind howled and the sky went dark. a great big storm hit us out of knowhere!

we watched the storm for a while and then when it was over we went down the back. the tree that they had been grazing near, and a few others had gone down in the storm. Apollo had saved them.

Apollo is probably the clearest communicator i have ever known. i have so many stories like this that he has given me. i believe strongly that horses can communicate on a strong energy level. they can pass feelings and emotions, and they are very clear of their likes and dislikes. i also think that they can tell us alot more if we listen.

Yes, I have the three books written by him and he was well ahead of his time. Not only with communication but he also talks about the laws behind clicker training. I think he was born before the second World War, well worth the read.

What a great topic :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:
I have had a lot of intuitions about my horses, and I allways act on them....I think we all do this, but the trick is to believe in what we feel sometimes..I have a recent example of what I believe is communication from mind to mind...I was just leaving the stable one night...nearly out the door...when I stopped suddenly thinking WATER...I turned and looked right into the eyes of my little paint horse...I checked the water supply and right enough ,the circulation pump had stopped, :ieks: a fuse had gone, I replaced it and went in the house.....only later I began to wonder about what had happened...Maybe this actually was the horse "talking" to me ?
I am really greatfull to her, because the entire water system would have frozen that night, had I not checked it out.......

Well yes... I communicate with my horses but there is a difference in levels of communication, conscious of not. I often ask a professional 'reader' to take a look.. but mostly to confirm what I already know somehow ;). But it's very useful to have an objective message because I feel it makes me see the bigger picture, also within the things which happen in my own life.
Also I believe only to have people 'read' (and I'm talking about people who can really read from higher consciousness to higher consciousness) my horses who are educated and can take away blockades etc. I've learned that it's possible to stir up a lot and if you are not educated to do something with it it can do more bad than good. Like a psychiatrist who has only have done half of his studies ;)
I see things happen to my horses before they happen.. I don't know where this info comes from though? From my horses or from the universe?

i was in my arena one day with my Tiny tott class. everything was normal and i was dancing around the arena playing "simon says" when suddenly i stopped. i cannot tell you the feeling that overwhelmed me, but it was total pannick. i suddenly knew that i had to get to someone. THEY WERE HURT, I COULD FEEL IT!!!

i raced down the arena and leapt over the fence. i missed and fell down and rolled down the hill, but i got straight to my feet and kept on running to the other side of the paddock.

everyone in the arena stopped. i called to my leaders to take over, and they did a really good job. (my leaders are the young teens that helped with leading the tinytots and tack up, in return for specialised help.)

i saw little bullseye straight ahead. he was just standing there, but i knew he was really hurt. he was starring straight at me, and i ran to him.

his shoulder was broken. we called out our vet and we sedated and pain relieved him so that we could all lift him with a bedsheet. we got him to the house and after xrays we realised that it was a non weight baring area, and i nursed him back to health over the months.

but the thing is, that he sent me that message. he sent an alert sygnal!!! it is otherwise unexplainable to me.

I agree Jessplum :f:
You must have picked up that message somehow, very powerfull stuf.....I think that many times we sort of know in advance when our horses are getting sick.....just feeling that I would like to check the horses late at night, or just staying around a bit longer than usual at feeding time, And then discover a horse with the colic or an injury of some kind....I would like to attribute this gut-feeling to my many years of experience taking care of horses.....but I really dont think I am that clever :D :D :D :D :D
It must be the horses who call to us for help then.....

I have had lots of animal communication experiences and they are getting more frequent as I get older.
Many years ago when I was younger, I had Lancer looked after by my friend (at the time) for a few weeks while I moved house from Wales back to England, after I finished uni. I kept thinking Lancer is unhappy, something is wrong, but she didn't ring me to say he was poorly, (I didn't have her number as everything got in a mess as we moved, and I couldn't find anything) so I thought it was just me being paranoid. I went up a few weeks later to get him and I find him skin and bone. The weight just gone, he was so fat when I left him there. I just knew something had been wrong. I took years to forgive myself for not taking my intuition seriously enough and for not going back to him sooner. It turns out we had a deeper bond than even I thought and he was pining for me. It was hard but I learned much about us. :pale:

I also had one time when I was going to leave him out in the field for one more night of freedom before I started to bring him back in overnight again as I thought the grass was getting too rich. I thought "I should bring him in tonight", but I then thought "no it's ok, he will be fine, I am being paranoid, he will enjoy one more night". Well imagine my horror when I get there in the morning and he has an attack of laminitis. I was so, so, so guilty. Lucky it was not bad, and I learned alot about laminitis because of it, but ever since then if I feel twitchy about a feed or leaving him an hour longer, or bringing him in, I do it, and he has had healthy feet ever since. Thank goodness I learned my lesson, even if it was the hard way. I am not a bad pony owner honest! :ieks:

I have also had a similar experience to Franziska's teacher. I was watching Anja Beran's dvd, and was thinking how much I would love to teach Monty all these beautiful dressage movements. I swear he was over my shoulder watching the tv as the next day he comes out of his stable arching his neck and looking just like the horses I had been watching. It is suddenly easier to get him moving and he suddenly loves the shoulder in. The oddest thing is my friend who lives a whole ocean away from me emailed me and told me she saw a picture of a black horse doing some very, very fancy moves, while she was sending healing to my old boy Lancer. I say that can only be Monty letting you know what he is going to do when he grows up! He now decides he does want to do dressage after all. I can only think it was him watching the dvd and he liked what he saw!

I was trying to figure out how to get him to do Spanish walk, and I was standing next to him and thinking about it in my head. When all of a sudden he flings his leg out high and forwrds and says "is that what you mean?" I was shocked! and very pleased.

I also had a pony demanding I give her a massage and some healing. I thought I was imagining it as I had my back to her and kept sweeping the yard. I hear a very clear, grumpy voice saying "I know you can hear me, stop ignoring me." I turn around thinking it is still all in my head and she is STARING at me, very, very intently with her ears pricked. It was very scary. :ieks: I think she was making sure me, the stupid deaf human, got the message loud and clear. I say "ok, I will ask your owner" (as we are friends, so I know it is ok to say crazy things like that!) and she stops looking at me and goes back to eating. That mare never looked at me like that before or since!

I guess we are all learning to trust our intuition! I knew what was wrong with my pony but the vet said I was wrong... It appeared eventually I was right but it was too late... he was to irreversible sick :(
And ofcourse you are not a bad owner.. just say for the sake of your horses you know to trust yourself now!

I had also a experience like you had with Imperia. I was standing at a low couch in the meadow and I was thinking "what if Imperia would walk over it?" and she immediately did! I never have seen her do that after or before

hi there Natalie. i loved reading your post. i have had the same things happen. where i have been thinking something and the horse does it for me. the other day, Bobby, the stallion and i were playing, and i was imagining a beautiful picture of him in natural collection. even though i was asking for leg lift, i was thinking of this beautiful arched neck. so i looked up at him, and there he is, trying so hard to impress me with his neck arched beautifully!!! :applause: i was so excited!!! :applause: :applause:

i also love

i have had this exactly happen. we have alot of fat little piggies of horses! and i swear that they send up subliminal messages about food, and sometimes it is hard to think!!!!! Apollo is the best though. you will think, "oh, apollo, i have to feed apollo," and then i look down the back, there is apollo BURNING his eyes into me!!!!!!

What a great thread, so interesting to hear everyone's stories and experiences.

I have my friend heather's pony leggie to thank for being able to communicate with animals. He is so outspoken and loves to communicate he made it so easy. The best teacher anyone could have....so much so that I now do animal communication regularly for others (as well as for my mad ponies)

The problem is that I find it difficult to explain how I do it....I've never had lessons or training it just kind of happened. I think maybe I should sit down and figure out how I do it and put it into words.

Basically you kind of go into almost a meditive state. If you are not with the animal you have to imagine that animal in your minds eye, as clearly as you possibly can. then open yourself up....send out love and warmth to the animal and ask whatever question you want. You may get some stranges answers back, images or even feelings but the more you do it the more you come to recognise and sort out your thoughts and feelings from the ones you are receiving from the animals.

Sorry if that doesn't make much sense....I'll try and word it better one day! lol

Hi Claire and all who do animal communication,

I know next to nothing about that and I so totally don´t have this gift, so I am sorry if my questions are a bit stupid, but I´d be interested to hear your comments about that:

1. When I read the things you had got from the horses, they were very detailed sometimes. In what format did you receive those informations? Do they come as images? Or does your brain already translate them to words before they become conscious?

2. Sometimes I read certain things that I would not expect a horse to be able to have a concept of - like time in weeks or other human things like that (although right now I can´t remember an example). How can this be?

3. Even in a very simple and straightforward human verbal communication (ha, not quite simple actually, but I think you know what I mean) the things that you hear are only partly the things that the other one is saying. A huge share of that is your own interpretation... or better say ALL of that is your own representation that you create and this representation is influenced by the message of the other one, but also by your own experiences, emotions and so on. Now if it´s already that difficult with verbal communication among humans, is there any way to separate the message you receive from the animal from your own projection?

Thank you very much in advance! :)

Warm Regards,
Romy
